Deliver a hassle-free experience to your customers and provide access to real-time locations and destinations with this 3D Wayfinder. Remotely manage information in one easy-to-use centralized web service.

With the 3D Wayfinder it easy to understand where you are, in what direction you are looking and how to reach your destination. Since it is multilingual, locations can be translated into required languages and change without reloading the wayfinding application. It’s easy to keep the directory up to date on every platform, whether it’s run in a kiosk, on mobile or the web.

Points of Interest

POI are various locations that are important for visitors like shops, toilets, ATMs, exits, etc. Each POI has a customized icon that is displayed on the 3D plan and in the building directory menu. Each POI has a name, ID, icon, text and additional parameters. It is possible to add quick-buttons to the screen for frequently searched destinations.

Searching and Grouping

All POIs are sorted by subject, alphabetical order and floors. Visitors can search the building directory for locations by typing a keyword or phrase using the on-screen keyboard. The keyboard layout depends on the chosen language and closes automatically when not in use.

Switching displayed floor plans is easy. When showing routes between floors, the floor plans are switched automatically with smooth animation.

You are Here

The “You are Here” spot is the location where the 3D Wayfinder application is displayed or used. The viewing direction at every spot changes the vantage point of the application to match the viewing angle of the visitor. If you move the kiosk, you can also easily change the “you are here” spot. Changing the location does not disrupt the route displays since all routes are calculated while in motion.

Visualization of routes

After searching for or selecting a destination, the software will give the shortest route in the 3D plan. Routes are calculated automatically or can be changed by the administrator. Display route as an animated dotted line, which can be color changed or a footprint image. If the destination is on a different floor, the route can be browsed by floor. The length of the route and estimated time of arrival can also be displayed. Visitors can choose alternative routes that are optimized for disabled people (without stairs) or to similar places (toilets, ATMs). Routes are drawn through navigation nodes, to which additional parameters can be added for more complex routes. For example, it is possible to create one-way routes through gates and other similar objects.

Content Management

Building managers and tenants can log in and manage all the information and access to the following features:

  • adding/changing POI’s
  • defining keywords
  • retrieving statistics
  • placing advertisements

For the management of large buildings, it is important to get information about visitors and their needs. Statistics provide answers to questions like:

  • What language do the visitors speak?
  • Which kiosk spot is used the most?
  • Which times are most popular?
  • What are the sex and/or age of the visitor? (Special software and hardware required)

Statistics provide an overview of the most common search terms. At the same time, all the keywords that cannot be matched with results are saved and presented. Thereby, you can see what your visitors like to find in your building.

Contextual Ads

Contextual ads are displayed according to the chosen topic subject or typed-in search keyword – making the ad more targeted and useful for the visitor.

  • Banner ads that can be images and animations.
  • Highlighted directory items with additional ad text (similar to Google Sponsored Links).
  • Small pop-up banners in the 3D plan.

Ad Pricing

All ads can be priced according to the following parameters:

  • Time frame.
  • Search keywords.
  • Subject.
  • Minimum fee.

Clicking on an ad can guide a visitor to the advertised store or open a new window with an external website. This way advertisers can use the existing ad channels. Visitors can be attracted by giving out coupons, offering special deals, providing additional information, etc.

Template Section

You can create your template with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript using the API. All templates can be customized according to customer needs.
